Sintra® is comprised of closed-cell polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in a homogenous sheet with a low-gloss matte finish. It has many desirable properties such as being light weight, waterproof, paintable, robust against sun and outside weather. It is very easy to work with and can be nailed, stapled, glued, riveted, thermoformed and worked into almost any shape. It also comes in a wide range of colours and thicknesses, making it a very useful plastic worldwide.
The uses of Sintra® include signage, decorations, displays, kiosks, framing, modeling, movie and theatre props, and many industrial and manufacturing purposes.
